“Vagues” matérialise un phénomène optique révélant la partie immergée d’une barque. Cette installation fait basculer les repères de notre espace familier. La découpe de la coque rend lisible la frontière rationnelle définie par le niveau de l’eau. Cette intrusion sur le plafond et cette vision de la barque, dans une salle d’exposition, introduit la part d’irréel dans un cadre réaliste.

Vagues (waves) realizes an optical phenomenon revealing the immersed part of a boat. This installation swiches the landmarks of our familiar space. The cut of the shell makes the rational border defined by the water level readable. This intervention on the ceiling and this vision of the boat, in the exhibition space, introduces the part of unreal into a realistic frame.
