“Sous la route“ est la rencontre de deux espaces opposés : urbain et naturel. L’agglomérat naturel se confronte à l’expansion croissante de l’urbanisme et s’approprie la machine “voiture“ par la terre, la roche et les racines.

In this work, soil aggregation confronts growing urbanism. The work was created right after the soil was laid bare and right before it was built on with new infrastructures. The soil, the rocks and the roots take over the car, turning it into a sculpture. The video records the brutality of their unlikely encounter.
